For independently operated gardens, each location has a link to a website for contact information. Please follow up with their website for contact information. For locations that are managed directly by GrowGarden, there will be a link to book online.

How much does it cost to use a garden plot?

It depends! The cost is set by the host. Many of the locations on the garden locator map are hosted by non-profits, and are free to use! However, please be sure to confirm with the location that you're interested in.

Who manages the garden plot?

It depends! On our garden locator, you might see gardens that are managed by GrowGarden, as well as gardens that are managed independently by other organizations and not GrowGarden. Each organization has policies and contact methods of their own. Please see the website that is linked in the description for the location you're interested in for more information!

How much does it cost to list a space on the GrowGarden website?

$0 -- it's completely free to list your garden location on the GrowGarden website garden locator map! If you are a nonprofit organizing managing your own garden locations, then it is completely free for gardeners to book a plot as well! Otherwise, there is a 15% commission fee per booking.

How do I add my garden plot to the GrowGarden garden locator map?

Please fill out the host form. We will get back to you as soon as we can! We might have a few additional questions before we can list your space.

How do I remove a listing?

For now, please fill out the update / removal form. After we verify that you are the owner of the location, we will make the updates on your behalf. In the future, we will provide an admin dashboard where you can manage any updates yourself.

Why should I list my garden space on GrowGarden?

GrowGarden is the central platform that brings together gardeners and hosts. If your garden needs more gardeners, we provide the traffic to bring them to you. In addition, we provide a streamlined platform to showcase your space and tell your story -- so that you can focus on mentoring new gardeners and spend less time worrying about maintaining websites and contact forms!

How will I know if someone booked by space?

If your location is operated by you, then GrowGarden directs to your website for your space. You should include information for how people can reserve a plot on your website. In the future, we plan on providing the option for gardeners to be able to book directly on GrowGarden, and for hosts to view bookings in their own personal dashboard.

Can I decide who rents my space?

Yes! You're in complete control of who rents out your space as their vegetable plot. You can exchange messages with potential Gardeners and arrange viewings before you decide to commit to having someone rent your plot for the long term.

How do I get paid as an GrowGarden Host?

When you sign up as a Host with a paid Plot on GrowGarden, you will be asked to provide your preferred bank account details for any rent payments. We take payment from Gardeners at the point they request to rent your Plot. This rent is then held in escrow by our payments processor (Stripe) until you accept or decline the request. If you accept the request, the first rent payment will be transferred to your chosen bank account within 7 days. Your rent will be the full amount listed on your Plot, minus GrowGarden's 15% transaction fee.
